This person will play a key role in developing our product roadmap management tool, organizing and coordinating across teams, both inside and outside of Product & Engineering, to ensure that our releases are prepared, documented, and delivered on-time and at our quality bar. The right candidate for this role will be expert-level at application development in AirTable (or a similar product), thrive in ambiguity, and be a constant champion for improving our release processes and tools. They will also enjoy partnering with a variety of stakeholders, ensuring everyone has the information and support they need to successfully deliver each release.
Responsibilities
- Operate and further develop our roadmap management system, built on AirTable.
- Manage a backlog of enhancement requests to the roadmap management system. Partner with stakeholders to identify, prioritize, and implement enhancements to the tool and other parts of the release management technical ecosystem.
- Build dashboards that give managers and executive-level stakeholders visibility into the health, cost, efficiency, and quality of our pre-release processes.
- Build and manage integrations between systems including AirTable, Salesforce, Jira, Confluence, Git, and internal systems and APIs.
- Ensure data in the roadmap management system is well-governed, correctly structured, andauditable.
- Ensure stakeholders, especially Product Managers, can easily get the data they need to be effective in their roles by creating easy-to-use views, interfaces, and reports
Required Qualifications
- You are an expert at AirTable or a similar database-driven application development system (such as Tableau, SmartSheet), with at least three years of direct experience designing, implementing, integrating, and operating AirTable (or similar) applications. You have a deep understanding of table design and relationships, formulas and automation, views, workflows, two-way syncing, external integrations, interfaces, and dashboards.
- You build beautiful, actionable, reliable dashboards for stakeholders in Engineering and Product Management roles, for managers, and for executives.
- You have DB, programming, and application testing experience. You’ve built integrations using APIs; you know how to test complex applications end-to-end to ensure data is accurate and edge cases are accounted for.
- You’ve worked closely with Product Managers and Program Managers, as well as Engineers in a B2B SaaS environment. You understand how product roadmapping and delivery works, and you’ve been a part of the technical side of code deployment.
- You rigorously maintain clean and accurate data and make data easy to audit via dashboards and other interfaces.
- You are an advanced user of Jira, ideally with administration experience.
- You are adept with SQL, and have experience in Tableau, Snowflake, or similar SaaS tools.
- You have a structured and logical approach to problem-solving and the ability to break down complex problems into smaller, manageable components.
- You are exceptional at listening to technical and non-technical stakeholders and turning their ideas and requirements into a prioritized feature roadmap.
