Join Allegro in our mission to ensure product safety, enforce anti-counterfeit policies, and promote sustainability! We are seeking a dedicated professional to monitor, analyze, and engage with EU and Polish legislation related to product safety, sustainability, and consumer empowerment for the green transition. You will play a crucial role in following the integration of EU laws into the Polish legal framework and across the CEE region.

What does this role involve?

  • Analyzing legislation in the area of sustainability, product safety for the purpose of sharing it with relevant business units internally,
  • Thinking cross-sectorally / holistically, i.a. taking into account the relevance of product safety / sustainability legislation on Allegro group companies,
  • Preparing analyses, reports, memos, explaining how the new legislation will affect Allegro Group Companies, in Poland and the CEE region,
  • Mapping relevant business units which may be affected by the new legislation and collecting feedback from them for the purpose of preparing Allegro’s input to position papers of business organizations engaging in the legislative process
  • Strengthening Allegro’s voice in the relevant working streams in business organizations (incl. ensuring Allegro’s argumentation is heard and conveyed within business associations & and among stakeholders), 
  • Preparing briefing documents for EU Regulatory Affairs team for the purpose of meetings with relevant working group of the European Commission, meetings with stakeholders in Brussels),
  • Preparing and delivering presentations related to legislative proposals, initiatives from the said area,
  • Continuously working on being up-to-date with Allegro’s initiatives in the field of product safety, anti-counterfeit and sustainability, 
  • Working with external advisors, including consultancies, law firms, etc., to gather most relevant and up-to-date information and intel on relevant legislative files.

This is the right job for you, if

  • You have 5+ years of regulatory experience in-house, with an agency, or in a government role
  • You understand the PL & EU legislative process
  • Experience in public administration, NGOs, or academia (relevant field) is advantageous
  • You are comfortable with back-office roles, but are excited about our expansion in CZ, SK, and HU, and contributing to analysis for our Brussels office which is at the forefront of EU stakeholder outreach
  • You enjoy participating in working groups within business organizations and international working groups
  • You have a minimum C1 level in English
  • You communicate clearly and effectively
  • You are flexible and adaptable
  • You are reliable
  • You have experience with the legislative process and analysis of legal proposals
