Schedule: Part-time 24 hours (Monday, Tuesday, & Wednesday)

Starting Compensation: $36.07

Department Specific Information: The Wound Healing Center is dedicated to helping you find solutions for wounds that resist traditional means of treatment and require advanced therapy. We offer a complete range of wound care patient services – from consultation to testing and treatment – and we are equipped with the latest in wound care diagnostic and treatment technology: Wound Care Dressings and Debridement, Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy, Transcutaneous Oxygen Monitoring. We’re looking for you.

The Registered Vascular Technologist provides comprehensive and intensive professional care to adult and geriatric patients. Collaborates with Physicians and staff to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for the patient. Performs vascular ultrasound procedures with direction from the physicians.

Responsibilities

·  Assistance with providers in vein procedures.

·  Comprehensive venous mapping.

·  Performance of diagnostic, venous reflux exams, DVT exams, post-treatment vein exams, vein mapping and possible lower extremity arterial ultrasounds. 

·  Performs patient examinations proficiently and safely.

·  Maintains accurate patient records, accurately documents pertinent data and patient information.

·  Communicates information to others involved in care of the patients.

·  Other clinical duties as needed to help efficient clinic flows.

Qualifications

Required:

·  Graduate of an accredited school of sonography.

·  RVT registered. 

Preferred:

  • BLS certification.
  • Prior sonography experience.
  • Maintains knowledge of advancements in vascular technology.
