Regional Value Pricing Lead

Role purpose: 

Driving overall pricing strategy by Harmonizing pricing value proposition approach in the region including its execution.  

Key responsibilities of role 

  • Setting pricing Strategy: defining and monitoring pricing principles, goals, and priorities for defined brand and customer target collaborating with cross-functional teams to align pricing with business objectives. 
  • Implement and harmonize value traits pricing capture methodology across the region 
  • Governing pricing setting across territory within mega segment to limit cross boarder trading and to maximize value capture 
  • Utilize market Intelligence tools to analyze and anticipate market trends, MAPS data analytics to optimize pricing. 
  • Pricing Analytics: analyze the price, mix and volume for better managing business performance 
  • Signing off on the pricing of TVPL  

Knowledge, experience & capabilities 

  • Include experience/familiarity with particular processes or systems, dealing with certain products or services, and/or the experience of dealing with others - both internally and externally 
  • Include also previous jobs that are critical / desired to perform in the job. Pricing Strategy: Experience in developing and implementing pricing strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives. 
  • Market Analysis: Ability to conduct market research and analysis to identify pricing trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape. 
  • Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of the industry, market trends, and regulatory environment to develop pricing strategies that comply with regulations and meet customer needs. 
  • Financial Acumen: Understanding of financial metrics, such as revenue, profit margins, and return on investment, to develop pricing strategies that maximize profitability.

  • Data Analysis: Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques to perform pricing volume mix analysis and identify pricing opportunities. 
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, present findings and recommendations, and negotiate with stakeholders. 
  • Leadership: Ability to lead and manage pricing initiatives, drive change, and influence stakeholders 
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to identify pricing challenges and develop creative solutions to overcome them. 
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in pricing analysis and recommendations. 
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and adjust pricing strategies accordingly.
