Reporting to the Head of Business Planning and Operational Excellence, JobStreet Express, this regional role will be responsible to lead sales excellence initiatives to drive sales of JobStreet Express products. This role focusses on ensuring the best sales practices for sales teams as new products taken to market. Collaborating with other departments, the team will develop and improve standard methodologies for sales strategies and processes to achieve commercial success.This is a cross-functional opportunity to apply broad management skills in clearly developing and delivering value for internal and external customer groups.
Key Responsibilities
SALES EXCELLENCE
- Performance monitoring and analysis:
- Monitor sales performance and target against targets across countries and sales teams
- Analyse sales data and performance metrics to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and areas of risk
- Sales process and tool embedment:
- Collaborate with sales teams to develop and provide them with the tools and resources necessary to effectively sell products or services (e.g. spiel, product positioning, OTE)
- Establish and integrate processes and tools to improve sales efficiency across countries and sales teams.
- Identify inefficiencies in current sales processes for all sales teams including Key Accounts and Telesales teams; thereafter lead initiatives to streamline operations, improve customer engagement, and drive sales outcomes
- Collaborate with countries to implement standard processes and continuous improvement methodologies to drive sales excellence across the organisation
- Training and development:
- Create and implement training programs focused on best practices, product knowledge, and sales techniques to empower the sales team and improve overall performance
LEADERSHIP AND RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT
- Ownership and drive - delivering outcomes with and through cross functional, cross market teams
- Build strong relationships with key customers across the business to ensure collaboration and clear alignment of our sales approach, achievements, risks and blockers
- Assist in ensuring governance is clear and transparent across our sales and operations teams
- Facilitate appropriate forums with key customers to maintain visibility of progress and help resolve issues where required
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement practices across sales functions to uplift performance
The successful candidate will have:
- Min 5 years in sales management, sales operations, or a similar role, with a proven track record of driving sales performance.
- Track record in ability to lead, influence and motivate teams to achieve sales targets, including cross functional teams
- Experience in training and coaching sales teams to achieve high performance.
- Strong execution ability with strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
- Experience facilitating meetings with cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with CRM software and sales analytics tools, comfortable with Tableau or Excel
- Comfortable operating in a ‘new’ and uncertain environment and highly capable in exercising judgement and facilitating decisions on commercial needs
- Exceptional teamwork with a willingness to perform tasks outside of role when required. Collaborative and empathetic work style. High degree of humility and willingness to “get stuck in”
