We work with many well-known firms around the world in private equity, investment banking, insurance, consulting, rating and asset management, applying Artificial Intelligence algorithms to measure ESG reputational risk factors.

The Regional Sales Role

You will be joining a rapidly expanding team in North America early in its growth cycle, which means you will have an opportunity to shape the team’s culture.

Your main duties and functions include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • CRM Management and Prospecting: Be responsible for a pool of cold and warm leads in your region. Research prospects, qualify them and help bring new leads by identifying opportunities. Manage prospects independently and conduct outreach campaigns to generate meetings through emailing and calls; 
  • Manage Sales Pipeline: Help convert leads from prospects to customers and be involved in the whole sales life-cycle from pitching to closing and contract signature. 
  • Focus on Enterprise deals, working with Sales Management and Solution Specialist teams to manage complex, solution led deals in large financial institutions 
  • Manage client relationships along with other team members to identify and create upsell opportunities.
  • Occasionally assist the Marketing team to review and update Sales & Marketing documents;
  • Assist the global Sales Team in daily tasks: participate in business meetings and calls, help prepare meetings and assist in the negotiation and contractual phases, keep track of sales KPIs;
  • Liaise with clients and partners, help organize events and negotiate with providers. Participate in conferences, networking events and meetings.

Desired Background and Skills

Education

  • Master’s degree in finance or similar degree from Business/Engineering School

Experience

  • At least 5+ years experience in selling technological solutions, preferably financial software tools with an ESG, portfolio management or risk focus, into SESAMm’s target markets.  

Skills

  • Deep knowledge of financial and/or private markets and strong appetite for AI technologies and Sustainability topics.
  • Organizational skills required to follow a structured sales process and track sales pipeline using CRM tools.
  • Track record in navigating large organizatons and closing complex enterprise deals 
  • Creative personality and problem-solving attitude with a strong autonomy and go-getter attitude; 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Self-driven, motivated and ambitious, you are ready to go the extra mile to make a difference and reach targets;
  • Microsoft Office and other relevant skills.
