Role Overview:
As the Regional Manager / Associate Regional Manager for Sales @ Service, you will be responsible for leading and managing the sales team to achieve sales targets and maximize revenue for the capital equipment products within your assigned state. You will play a crucial role in developing and implementing sales strategies, building strong relationships with key customers, and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and execute a comprehensive sales plan for capital equipment products in the state, aligned with business objectives and market trends.
2. Lead and manage the sales team, providing coaching, guidance, and support to ensure individual and team performance targets are met or exceeded.
3. Identify and target potential customers, including industries, businesses, and organizations that would benefit from capital equipment solutions.
4. Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, understanding their needs and requirements, and providing tailored solutions to meet their demands.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer service, to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies and enhance customer satisfaction.
6. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for product improvement and market expansion.
7. Prepare and present sales forecasts, budgets, and reports to senior management, providing insights on sales performance, market trends, and potential risks or opportunities.
8. Participate in trade shows, industry conferences, and networking events to promote the company's capital equipment products and enhance brand awareness.
9. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards throughout the sales process.
10. Keep updated on industry developments, new technologies, and regulatory requirements related to capital equipment sales.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Engineering degree is a must. Master's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in capital equipment sales & service, preferably in a leadership role for a minimum of 16 years.
- Strong knowledge of the capital equipment market, industry trends, and customer needs.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a sales team.
- Outstanding communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies, achieve targets, and drive business growth.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret sales data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales-related applications.
- Willingness to travel within the state as necessary.
