Regional Procurement Operations Delivery Manager

As a Regional Procurement Operations Delivery Manager you will report into the Regional Procurement Operations Function and you will be responsible for managing a regional team (EAME region).

We all have a critical role to play and add value. Here is how this role will help:

  • Scoping/sizing, designing, and implementing the Ariba support/service model
  • Maintain existing & creation of new desktop procedures to support current and future needs
  • Co-ordinate closely with Finance and IT Support desk
  • Define, implement, monitor & execute agreed KPI’s
  • Design and generate performance reports in close alignment with Regional Manager and Global Leadership
  • Work closely with Regional Procurement Operations Manager to understand regional requirements regarding Ariba functionalities
  • Deliver training on continuous basis for support team and regional user community
  • Proactively identify and instigate necessary upskilling for self and team
  • Act as regional Ariba Procurement SME for future releases and small changes
  • Understand Syngenta compliance requirements and conform to required standards and policies
  • Support Procurement function alongside internal audit and facilitate necessary actions
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities, align with Regional & Global function for implementation
  • Manage regional escalations and expectations in consultation with Global team and Regional Procurement Operations Manager
  • Support projects as required

You will be a great fit if you have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
  • 8+ years of work experience (including minimum 3 years of people management) with ideally experience in Ariba or equivalent business application solutions
  • Fluent English necessary and other language beneficial
  • Experience in Service team management
  • People leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams
  • Strong planning and resource allocation
  • Analytical mind, intellectual curiosity, and attention to detail
  • Eagerness and active learner mindset to perform the best in a very dynamic and fast changing business environment
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills
  • High sense of prioritization, strong customer focus
