Unique for this role
While growing and expanding our markets globally, we are looking for a tactical marketer who can unlock the potential of UKI as the key focus market for Planday as a Regional Marketing Manager, UKI. You will join a full cross functional marketing team and will be the main point of contact for all UK marketing activities. 
Working hand in hand with the UK sales team, Growth and Brand Marketing experts - you will execute Regional Marketing Activations to increase brand awareness & demand for our TAS solution on the market, support pipeline generation and guide prospects on the journey from lead to customer.
This is a 9 month maternity cover temporary role to start in mid- October, based in London. Within 9 months, you’ll use high level reporting and knowledge to go from executing UK activations to co-creating 2025/26 strategies, reporting into overall growth and company targets. 

How you’ll make an impact
As the Regional Marketing Manager, you’ll be instrumental in delivering and shaping UK Marketing, contributing to one of our key metrics, which is winning the hospitality industry in the UK. 
Impact will be achieved through:
- Generating interest within the shift-work/ hospitality sector
- Driving leads through the marketing funnel from awareness to consideration
- Supporting the Growth team goal of increasing Marketing Qualified Leads.

What you’ll do

  • Own Market Activation - Own local activation for 360 campaigns. Channels include: media & brand partnerships, events, tech partnerships, content, product marketing, social media. 
  • Demand Generation - Support in improving the mid-funnel demand generation. Converting website visitors into newsletter and email subscribers.
  • Support MQL and Sales Outbound Strategies - Work with Sales Leadership and extended sales teams to enable their success & be an advocate of the local needs towards the rest of the marketing team.
  • PR - Lead PR strategy and manage the PR agency to generate high value coverage for Planday in the UK. This Includes working with ambassadors, media publications, trade show press and building solid relationships with key external partners and influencers in the hospitality industry.

Success looks like

  • Leverage Activations: Manage and implement regional activation to drive awareness of Planday within the hospitality sector and lead to an increase in data opt-in lead generation.
  •  Outbound Support: Utilise Regional Marketing channels to strengthen marketing support for the UK sales flow.  
  • Building Relationships: Become embedded in the UK hospitality sector, building relationships with key internal and external decision makers.

What you’ll bring with you

  • Experience in managing upper funnel spend, aligned to targets while keeping things efficient
  • Proven track record of demand generation through a diverse set of digital & traditional channels, working in an integrated campaign framework
  • Good understanding of sales processes & experience working directly with sales
  • Experience with marketing & analytical platforms and software (GA4, Google Ads, Marketing Cloud, Salesforce)
  • Proactive and a self-starter with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Fast learner with an entrepreneurial, analytical mindset
  • Has a good understanding of B2B SaaS business model
  • Team Player with strong interpersonal skills and a compelling communicator
  • Hospitality and Tech experience is considered a plus.
