The Role
The Regional Manager, Airport Operations oversees and manages all airport parking operations within a designated geographic region. This role is responsible for driving strategic growth, operational excellence, and financial performance across multiple airport parking facilities. The Regional Manager will collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute business plans, ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, and implement best practices across the region.   
 
 
Responsibilities
  • Directs, manages, and coordinates the activities of location staff and contract personnel to ensure proper facility operation.                        
  • Prepares annual operating budget and ensures that the facility(s) is operating within budget perimeters and takes appropriate remedial action on negative variance.
  • Prepares and manages the operations plan (logistics, staffing, and controls) for the location.
  • Ensures that proper revenue control discipline, risk management procedures, security and customer service protocols are understood and being followed by all employees.
  • Evaluates staff performance, serves disciplinary notices and handles first-step grievances.  
  • Serves as primary liaison with the client and maintains a close relationship with key airport personnel as well as support personnel in CSO/NSO.
  • Monitors client and customer satisfaction with services.  
  • Ensures the facility(s) is safe and secure and that proper location maintenance and housekeeping is performed as required.  
  • Plans and leads regular meetings with client to report on finances, operations and on-going projects/strategies.                          
  • Coordinates and manages routine maintenance projects as well as special projects related to facility improvements.
  • Supervises the work of sub-contractors to ensure that work is done properly and per the contract.  
  • Coordinates facility openings/closings and service offering launches and determines operating plan requirements necessary to accommodate successful execution of business plan.
  • Interacts with customers as needed to answer questions, investigate resolve complaints/violations and to improve customer satisfaction levels.
  • Monitors and reviews audit results to maintain security vigilance over possible employee theft and/or inefficiencies.
  • Monitors and reviews all accidents and damage claims to establish remedial plans or programs to prevent the occurrence or reoccurrence of similar claims.
  • Reviews and approves location expenses.
  • Participates in the development of regional financial and operational goals and is responsible for meeting determined goals.
  • Leads the customer acquisition initiatives at the airport by providing digital marketing strategies and staying abreast of technological solutions that improve the customer experience and/or the efficiency of airport operations.
  • Develops and maintains a comprehensive understanding of competitive (off-airport) markets and of competitors’ strategies within the assigned region.
Requirements 
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Must possess a valid state-issued driver’s license with a current address and acceptable driving record.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain an Airport issued (FBI clearance) badge.  
  • At least 5 years of Airport Parking Experience, preferably with a strong background in shuttle and valet operations.
  • Previous oversight of multiple direct reports and a large employee staff is also required. 
  • Strong computer skills are required with proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.  
  • Prior experience working with parking access and revenue control systems a strong plus.
  • General understanding of financial statements, accounting & budgeting skills required.
  • Must have strong leadership skills and the ability to delegate work effectively.  
  • Excellent follow-up, verbal and written communication skills are a must in a fast-paced multi-site environment.  
  • You will be expected to interact constructively with employees, management, clients, and vendors, evaluate situations, set priorities and respond to issues in a timely matter.  
  • You must be able to handle a variety of tasks and manage them to established deadlines. 
  • Strong attention to detail.
