The Regional Human Resources Business Partner, will be responsible for driving the strategic alignment of People initiatives with business goals across multiple locations across our EMEA operations. This role will work closely with senior leadership and management to provide tailored People solutions that support organizational objectives, foster a positive work culture, and ensure the effective implementation of People policies and practices across the region. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of People strategy, talent management, employee relations, organizational development, and performance management, as well as the ability to lead People teams in multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic People Leadership:
    • Act as a strategic People partner to regional business leaders, providing advice, guidance, and coaching on People matters aligned with business goals.
    • Collaborate with senior leadership to drive key People initiatives, including talent management, succession planning, leadership development, and organizational change.
    • Translate business needs into actionable People strategies and solutions, ensuring People programs are aligned with the regional business strategy and culture.
  • Team Leadership
    • Manage a team of 3, based in London and Dusseldorf
    • Covering the the following countries, England, North Ireland, Germany, and Poland, 
  • Talent Management & Development:
    • Coordinate with the People Development Team to align the recruitment and retention strategy for the region, ensuring the attraction of top talent and the development of a high-performing workforce.
    • Partner with the People Development Team to identify training and development programs that enhance employee skills, leadership capabilities, and organizational effectiveness.
    • Partner with managers to develop career progression plans and succession pipelines for key roles within the region.
  • Employee Relations & Performance Management:
    • Manage complex employee relations issues, providing guidance on conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and compliance with local labour laws.
    • Foster a positive work environment by addressing employee concerns and ensuring consistent application of policies.
    • Oversee performance management processes, ensuring effective goal setting, feedback, and development planning across the region.
  • Change Management & Organizational Development:
    • Lead organisational change initiatives and ensure smooth transitions during restructures, mergers, acquisitions, or other transformations.
    • Support leadership in enhancing organisational effectiveness and culture by driving change management efforts.
    • Assess and analyse regional business needs to design and implement organizational development interventions that drive business performance.
  • People Metrics & Reporting:
    • Analyse People data and trends to measure the impact of People programs and provide actionable insights to business leaders.
    • Track key People metrics (turnover, retention, engagement, etc.) and use data to continuously improve People programs and practices.
    • Report regularly to senior leadership on People outcomes and regional business performance.
  • Compliance & Risk Management:
    • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations.
    • Monitor and mitigate risks related to employee relations, workplace safety, and other employee-related matters.
    • Advise on People policies and ensure their consistent application across the region.

Qualifications:

  • Education & Experience:
    • Minimum of 8  years of progressive People experience, with at least 4 years in a leadership or business partner role.
    • Experience working in multi-location or regional People roles with a demonstrated ability to work across different cultures and business environments.
  • Skills & Competencies:
    • Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and tools, including talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation, and organizational development.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the organization.
    • Proven ability to lead change initiatives and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
    • Data-driven decision-maker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to navigate complex People issues and manage sensitive situations with professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Additional Requirements:
    • Ability to travel regionally as required, with travel up to 20% 
    • Deep knowledge of local labour laws, policies, and regulations.
