We are looking for a Regional General Manager to join our Operations Management team. In this role, you’ll be part of a global team of operations leaders and will manage a team of managers and operators. You’ll own a P&L for one of our core regions, will develop and oversee the execution of global initiatives that question the status quo, and will partner cross-functionally with internal teams and external stakeholders to solve the most critical and oftentimes complex problems to push the needle forward.
The ideal candidate exemplifies mature management capabilities and is a proven thought partner. You'll have a knack for building relationships across an organization at all levels and externally. You’ll be an in the moment problem solver and have the ability to think about the short and long term plan. You’ll have intimate knowledge of how a warehouse operates with demonstrated experience building and scaling and a background in operational excellence.
This is a hybrid position based in the United States on the West Coast within one of the following locations: California (Los Angeles, San Francisco, Sacramento), Washington (Seattle Area), Oregon (Portland), Arizona (Phoenix). If you do not reside in one of these locations, you must be willing to relocate to this area.
The person hired within this role must live within one hour of a Lime warehouse.
What you'll do:

Own and manage the P&L, team, and strategic direction for one of Lime’s core regions building a multi-year strategy for the core region that you translate it into budgets, operating plans, Government Relations tactics, and more

Be the operational expert for your region, champion operational excellence, own end-to-end operational improvements, advising teams and influencing innovation across the company

Attract and develop top-tier operational talent while cultivating a high-performing, values-driven culture driven by regular feedback, clear accountability, and proactive performance and talent management

Direct cross-functional strategies with a global impact and engage collaboratively in company-wide planning, advocating for your region while incorporating the greater needs of the company

Create a positive, inclusive, and safe workplace where people genuinely want to work
About you:

9+ years of work experience as a highly cross-functional manager within an operations, management consultancy, or equivalent role with a demonstrated background working within a warehouse environment and experience owning a P&L

7+ years of experience as a people leader in a warehouse environment, managing a team of professional-level staff for a large and complex region

You love building top-tier teams and have a demonstrated background in developing and motivating your team to perform at their best

Analytically minded with a strong understanding of real-time marketplaces (supply and demand economics) and the ability to navigate, decode, and use data to build compelling narratives and reports. Advanced experience using Excel or Google Sheets and knowledge of SQL are a major plus.

Problem solver skilled at identifying and resolving complex problems, exercising good judgment in drawing conclusions, navigating ambiguous environments while working cross functionally

Excellent communicator with the ability to flex your communication style to internal stakeholders - such as the C-team or your own team - and external stakeholders such as local government

Detail oriented with a focus on process improvement, self motivated and energetic, with the drive and ability to learn new skills and grow with the role
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred
The anticipated yearly salary range for this position is $115,000 - $198,000. Equity and benefits may be provided as part of the compensation package, depending on the position offered. Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. Exact salary will ultimately depend on multiple factors, which may include the successful candidate's skills, experience and other qualifications as well as the candidate's location of residence. In addition to base salary, some roles may be eligible for a variable bonus based on a combination of company performance, employee performance, and management discretion.
