As the Regional Expansion Lead, you will spearhead our market entry and sales growth in this key region. This is a highly autonomous and entrepreneurial role focused on sales and business development to deploy our successful global product offering into a new market. This role demands a highly proactive, results-oriented, energetic person with the tenacity and grit to thrive in a startup environment.
You will be at the forefront of driving our Netherlands expansion strategy, being the first permanent local hire, working closely with a highly experienced local company director and reporting directly to the European General Manager.
What the job involves:
- You will be in charge of executing a comprehensive market entry strategy to establish our presence in the Netherlands and adjacent markets over time
- Drive sales efforts, including taking ownership of all inbound leads and engaging potential enterprise customers, presenting our product offerings, and closing deals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distribution partners including dealers, architects and designers, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions.
- Identify and capitalise on new business opportunities to drive growth and market penetration.
- Establish and nurture strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, including local businesses, industry associations, and potential distributors.
- Oversee the establishment of local operations with support of the European Operations lead
- Conduct market research to identify and respond to trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to inform business decisions.
- Represent and promote our brand at industry events, conferences, and networking functions.
- Over time, the role is expected to grow into a Regional Manager role, to build and manage a local European sales team servicing Netherlands and adjacent markets

- Flexibility and adaptability to navigate challenges and seize opportunities in a rapidly evolving market.
Desirable:
- Experience in the Architecture and Design sector or adjacent industries is preferred but not essential (e.g. experience working with architects, fitout specifiers, interior designers, acoustics, commercial property experience would be a benefit)
- Established network within the Dutch architecture / design / furniture or commercial property industries would be a bonus
- Fluency in German, French or other European languages would be a bonus (but not essential)
