Regional Director of College Success
Mission:
The Director of College Success supports their regions to send all graduates to America’s best colleges. The Director is responsible for the supporting the National strategy and following through all college readiness and matriculation initiatives. The Director of College Success supports and coaches the regions Directors of College Counseling and College Counselors.
Supervisory Responsibilities:

Location:
This is a full-time position located in the Upper RGV. Preference will be given to candidates who live in the region, or who are willing to relocate.
Travel Expectations:
Travel within the Region throughout the year as necessary.
What You’ll Do – Accountabilities
Essential Duties:
Additional Duties and Responsibilities:
• Plan for and create a system for following up with high priority senior students throughout the school year and the summer. (SCHOOL Portfolio)
• Ensure 100% high quality applications to selective and highly selective universities (SCHOOL Portfolio)
• Lead and Co-Lead high quality Professional Development for DCCs and CCs.
Knowledge and Skills – Competencies
Additional Skills:
• Experience developing and leading professional development around CCMR, TSI, HB4545,
• Experience with creating master schedules, transcripts, record requests, tracking failures and updating On Track to Graduate (OTG) reports for campus staff
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Required experience:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Experience: Minimum of 6 years of experience in K-12 education or a related field.
Preferred experience:
• Education: Master’s degree is preferred.
• Experience: 3 Years of college access or readiness experience is preferred. Experience
• Managing people or teams is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
• This is a sedentary position.
• Bending, crawling, stooping, standing, vision, lifting, walking
• The ability to safely carry 20 pounds

Compensation & Benefits:
Salaries for people entering this role typically fall between $77,200 and $90,300 commensurate with relevant experience and qualifications and in alignment with internal equity. This role is also eligible for performance pay based on organizational performance and goal attainment.
