At Allegro Group, we are looking for a person who will support the International Accounting Teams to help the Group Accounting Director navigate on a daily basis the transformation and emergency cases. The person will support all delivery teams to ensure best-practice transaction processes and full compliance with accountancy/tax rules, business requirements and Group internal procedures.
What will your responsibilities include?
Operational management of International Accounting Teams (Czech, Hungary, Slovenia, Slovakia, Croatia) and ensuring the delivery of SLAs and meeting Group KPIs
Providing operational support for accounting in international business on platforms allegro.cz, allegro.sk, allegro.hu
Supervising financial audits in Czech, Hungary, Slovenia, Slovakia, and Croatia
Coordinating and performing proper and timely monthly closings, including account reconciliation and IC confirmation
Preparing reports and financial statements in accordance with IFRS or local GAAP
Meeting deadlines for tax, financial, and management reporting
Maintaining 100% compliance with accounting rules (IFRS/local GAAP), tax or legal requirements, internal control procedures, and governance model
Managing tax requirements and tax declarations (CIT, VAT, Intrastat), either performed by the tax compliance provider or in the SSC
Collaborating with all key internal and external stakeholders: local tax compliance providers, country finance managers, business, auditors, and external institutions
Maintaining contact with auditors and authorities (TAX office, National Bank, Statistical Office)
Redefining and relocating roles and responsibilities within and into the SSC
Transferring processes previously supported in other locations to SSC, for example from Slovenia to Czechia or Poland
Motivating and supporting the team to achieve its objectives and improve efficiency
Providing regular, proactive recommendations for process improvement, cost reduction, or efficiency enhancement, and finding solutions for emergency cases

This is the right job for you, if:
You are willing to travel between regional Accounting Teams
You have min 4-6 years of experience in Finance Department or Outsourcing company, experience in managing Finance & Accountancy international teams
You have university education, preferably within Finance or Economics
You have good knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS, local GAAP) and tax regulations
You are able to manage financial audits
You feel comfortable in preparing financial reports and statements
You are able to work in a dynamic, international environment
You have strong communication and interpersonal skills
You have proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement
You have good communication skills (verbal and written), and fluency in English
