Annual compensation: $77,000 – 82,000, plus bonus potential.
Position Overview: This referrals manager is responsible for managing referrals process from outside providers for all FCC clinics. The Referrals Manager provides oversight, guidance, and coverage for the referrals Intake staff, monitors, and improves Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), provides ongoing provider communication on FCC referrals, and maintains staff improvement and training. The Referrals Manager plays an integral role in assessing the referring provider and patients’ needs and ensures cross functional communication to enhance the patient and provider experience. The referrals manager will also serve as the primary liaison for the director of community partnerships, serving as the main point of contact for outside practices.
Essential Responsibilities:

Manages and develops an effective staff: providing effective communication, leadership, guidance, and resources according to organizational policies and applicable laws and regulations. Determines staff qualifications and competency: recruits, interviews, selects, hires, trains, orients, mentors, evaluates, coaches, counsels, disciplines, and rewards. Establishes and monitors staff safety and regulatory compliance.
- Assigns and manages day-to-day workflow for referral Intake Coordinators. Implements staff adjustments, back-up coverage or cross coverage as needed.
- Partners with regional administrators, director of community partnerships and internal stakeholders to identify and implement strategic plan to enhance the patient and provider experience and ensure FCC provides top level scheduling service to patients referred to our practices.

Performs and oversees comprehensive referral reviews to identify referral trends and provide guidance on how to better optimize external relationships.
- Performs and oversees the scheduling of intake appointments based on intake assessments and provider matrix.
- Provides and oversees an excellent customer service function to include the support of patients, families, internal and external customers.
- Meets established referral metrics and quality goals.

Supervisory or Managerial Responsibility:

Supervises up to 10 employees.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Five years’ experience in a healthcare setting with three years of supervisory experience required.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, medical insurance or medical billing preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite required.
