Aviation recruitment experts Optime Group are on the lookout for an ambitious and driven Recruitment Consultant to drive the recruitment efforts for Gatwick Airport.

Previous recruitment experience is ideal but is not essential. With the right approach we can provide the rest!

We are looking to add to our team at our head office in Crawley and are looking to appoint a Recruitment Consultant to recruit for us across Surrey and Sussex for Gatwick Airport. Based at the Crawley branch, you will be recruiting Baggage Handlers, Check-In Agents, Warehouse Operatives, Aircraft Cleaners, Cleaners, Customer Care Agents and many more aviation roles.

What's on offer:

  • Hours: 08:30am-17:00pm
  • Days: Monday – Friday (Office based)
  • Salary: £28,000 per annum + commission
  • 28 days holiday entitlement

Key duties:

  • Recruiting the highest standard of candidates
  • Sell a range of job roles to candidates.
  • Source candidates using a variety of techniques and maintain sourcing lists.
  • Utilize and update in-house CRM system in line with company process.
  • Taking full ownership of your candidate onboarding experience, from CV screening through, telephone interviews, face to face interviews, to start dates and beyond.
  • Offering remote support and guidance to your placed workers in the airport operation (such as pay / holiday / roster queries).
  • Provide your management team with a relentless innovation to help deliver and business objectives.
  • Effectively and passionately handle client & candidate feedback – Strive for what’s best for our clients and your workers!
  • Deliver vs Target via your recruitment dashboard. Find high quality staff that represent you, maximising inductions and minimising your attrition.

The ideal candidate:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
  • Ambitious and driven.
  • Passionate about customer service
  • Works well in a team and using own initiative.
  • Previous recruitment and/or sales experience preferred but not essential.
