Armaments Research Company (ARC) is a technology company dedicated to bringing real-time situational awareness and battlefield logistics capabilities to the warfighter. You will be an integral part of the ARC team managing program execution in support of our innovative and powerful IoT devices to enhance national security.   

Our core offering is the ARC AI-Enabled Weapons Sensor (AEWS), which collects and transmits real-time tactical data to the cloud. This information enables battlefield/tactical awareness and aggregated insights into big data sets that do not exist today. ARC technologies were initially developed in partnership with DARPA and the National Science Foundation and leverage internet-of-things (IoT) technology and machine learning to derive actionable insights and transform operational responses. This novel technology will be deployed at scale to enhance safety, decision-making, and sustainment for the warfighter at the tactical edge. 

What You'll Do

ARC is seeking a new grad for a recruiting coordinator role on our Talent TeamYou will have the opportunity to work for a fast-paced defense tech startupYou will play a critical role in streamlining the hiring process by managing administrative tasks, communicating with candidates, and assisting with various aspects of recruitmentYour primary focus will be on the candidate lifecycle, with a secondary focus on supporting the employee experience.  This is a hybrid role that requires lab presence up to twice a week. 

Role Responsibilities - How You Will Make an Impact

  • Support ARC’s overall talent strategy: learn the fundamentals of HR, Recruiting and People Operations
  • Collaborate with hiring managers and run intake meetings to discover staff requirements and specific job requirements
  • Oversee the full candidate lifecycle to include evaluating and screening resumes, conducting recruiter phone screenings, and other phone, virtual and/or in-person interviews
  • Be a company brand ambassador by attending job fairs and demo days
  • Assist in onboarding and offboarding employees
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings by communicating with both internal and external stakeholders  
  • Source candidates by using social media, networking, and attending industry-relevant event

 

Relevant Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Comfortable in fast-paced environment
  • Existing or ability to obtain a DoD security clearance 

Bonus Points: 

  • Comfortable with MSFT 365, Slack 
  • Prior experience with Greenhouse 

This position will require access to restricted information and facilities protected under U.S. laws and regulations, including the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM).
