Job At A Glance 

Gecko Robotics is seeking an enthusiastic Recruiting Coordinator to own, manage and elevate the candidate experience. This is an amazing opportunity to make an impact on the future success of Gecko, and you will be an integral part of taking our company, and your career, to the next level. 

As a Recruiting Coordinator, you will be the first point of contact with prospective Geckos, managing the scheduling of interviews, travel, and the candidate experience in a fast paced environment. Additionally, you will partner closely with recruiters and hiring managers to create a world class candidate experience.  As a member of the larger People Operations team, you will play a huge role in supporting day to day recruiting functions, as well as special recruiting projects and events as needed.

Organization, attention-to-detail, and troubleshooting problems before they arise are just some of your superpowers. You take a "How can I help?" approach and understand the importance of the impact this role has on a candidate's experience with Gecko. You are comfortable juggling competing priorities and pride yourself on operating with a sense of urgency. You love being a part of a close-knit team and thrive in a support role, knowing that the smallest of details make all the difference.

What You Will Do

  • Successfully manage and schedule across multiple candidates and calendars to seamlessly coordinate high-volume and fast-paced interview activity across all teams via phone, video, and onsite interviews.
  • Act as a primary point of contact through the interview coordination process while ensuring a quality recruiting experience for candidates and interviewers from start to finish.
  • Utilize strong written and verbal communications with candidates, recruiters, interviewers, and hiring managers throughout the candidate lifecycle. 
  • Proactively identify areas of opportunity within the scheduling and interview processes.
  • Schedule and document all interview activity and updates through our Applicant Tracking System. 
  • Operate with a high sense of urgency and professionalism and a “no task to small” mindset.
  • Build a strong relationship with hiring managers and interviewers, acting as a partner to provide any information required for interviews, improve processes, or adjust schedules as needed.
  • Take on special projects as needed related to Recruiting, Events, and People Operations, etc.

About You

  • Experience with talent coordination/scheduling, or an administrative support role within a fast-paced company or relevant transferable skills from an outside field 
  • Superb organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Calendar/scheduling expertise of onsite, phone and virtual interviews (Zoom preferred)
  • Experience optimizing and utilizing an ATS (Greenhouse or Lever preferred)
  • Ability to thrive and adapt in an ever-changing environment 
  • Comfort pivoting quickly and operating with a sense or purpose and urgency
  • Strong commitment to and passion for creating a positive candidate and employee experience
  • Team-player mentality, with a willingness and desire to proactively offer solutions and go where you’re needed most
  • Willingness to travel up to 1-2 times a month for hosting candidates depending on location, and ability to be in office 3 or more days a week

NYC Pay Transparency Disclosure:

Salary Range: $55,000-100,000 annually plus equity and perks.

This salary range is based on the current available market data, and represents the expected salary range for this role. Gecko Robotics has minimal hierarchy and few titles, but has broad ranges of experience represented within roles.
