About the role:

We are looking for a Software Engineer that will be in charge of end-to-end real-time communication software development for our life-saving platform. You will be designing and implementing high-performance VoIP services/ Streaming architecture, in order to provide people the help they need in emergency situations.

Development of core RTC components from client level up to the server-side, implementing highly scalable real-time communication infrastructure for emergency services.

Working on multi-platform environments with mobile clients, VoIP and Streaming clustered servers and on command and control systems and emergency end-devices. 

You will be working on a wide of variety of RTC open-source projects and components: WebRTC (Internals and API's), HTTP Streaming, Media frameworks and media engines (GStreamer, FFmpeg), B\W Estimation, Video and Audio codecs (VP8/9, H.264/5 , SVC, Opus, AAC).

Requirements

  1. BSC in Software Engineering/ Computer science
  2. Minimum of 4 years of experience in backend development, with a focus on Microservices (Experience in Scala and/or Java and/or C is a plus, but we welcome expertise in any technology)
  3.  At least 4 years of experience in building advanced web applications
  4.  Experience in developing in cloud environments (AWS preferred)
  5.  A proactive “can-do” approach and exceptional interpersonal abilities
  6.  Quick learner with flexibility to adapt to new technologies.
  7.  Fluent English

Advantages:

  1.  Experience in designing and coding microservices-based solutions for the Cloud
  2.  Experience with Networking protocols such as IP, TCP, UDP, and RTP
  3.  Working with WebSockets
  4.  Experience with designing and coding UI components
