Realty Income is looking to hire a  Real Estate Paralegal to provide professional legal services related to leasing and management of the Company’s national portfolio of properties and supporting the Company’s business teams on a broad range of legal matters.
 
What you will work on: 
  • Assist with drafting lease amendments, assignments, sublease consents, estoppels, lien waivers, and other ancillary lease documentation required to manage a variety of commercial properties in the Company’s portfolio.  
  • Assist attorneys in resolving a variety of property management issues, such as violations, lease interpretation, permitting, and alteration requests. 
  • Contribute to providing in-house legal support to both the company’s asset management and property management teams. 
  • Organize and respond to tenant and third-party requests easements and REAs; assist with delivery of high end and accurate solutions to tenants and clients. 
  • Review title and survey. 
  • Communicate with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist in the management of a wide variety of other legal matters relating to the operation and improvement of our ever-expanding portfolio. 
What we need from you: 
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or significant experience with commercial real estate transactions. 
  • 4+ years of on-point legal experience. 
  • A paralegal certificate from an ABA approved school. 
  • Proven experience in a business environment or otherwise assisting corporate clients. 
  • Strong computer and document preparation skills, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Adobe.

The hourly rate for this role is in the range of $35.04 - $54.33. You may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and an annual discretionary stock award, (dependent on date of hire) to be discussed during the initial phone interview. Base salary and total compensation package determined by the candidate's experience, knowledge, education, skills, performance, and abilities, as well as internal equity, company performance, and alignment with market data.
