We’re looking for a React Native Developer to join our Mobile Replenishment team at RELEX in Helsinki or Lisbon. Our team is developing an app that helps retail store employees manage orders, check inventory, and handle key store operations. The app serves a high number of users, and some features are business-critical. 

Your expertise will shape both the app and how we approach mobile development at RELEX. While you’ll be the go-to person for mobile, you won’t be doing it alone. We believe in collaborative problem-solving and shared learning, so part of your role will be mentoring and helping the team grow their mobile expertise.

What we’re looking for:

We need an experienced engineer with a track record of shipping mobile applications. You don’t have to check every box, but ideally, you have: 

• Experience developing iOS and Android apps in React Native
• Experience releasing applications using Expo Application Services (EAS)
• Interest in optimizing performance for older devices
• Ability to introduce and extend native code when needed for integrating platform-specific features
• A strong sense for UI/UX - we’d love for you to contribute to front-end decisions and help shape a great user experience
• A strong focus on testing, code maintainability, and scalability
• Interest in observability and monitoring in production: ensuring the app runs smoothly and issues can be detected and resolved quickly.
• A collaborative attitude - we’re looking for a great teammate as much as a great developer
• Fluent English communication skills
