Internship within RMI department and related departments to gain understanding of workflows and business needs in the company.
- Assist with R&D projects related to natural rubber materials.
- Conduct literature reviews and data analysis to support the development of new tire materials.
- Perform basic lab tasks under supervision, including sample preparation.
- Collaborate with the R&D team to analyze and interpret experimental data, and suggest improvements based on findings.
- Prepare technical reports and presentations summarizing research results, progress, and potential applications.
- Participate in team meetings, providing insights and feedback on project progress.
- Regular and clear communication with manager and internal and external team members on status of assigned projects.
- Administrative tasks and/or other projects as assigned.
- Occasional cross-departmental training and project work with other interns.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Polymer Science or related field.
- Interest in rubber, polymers, or tire technology, with a willingness to learn about natural rubber processing.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a research environment.
- Experience in computer skills including use and understanding of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint. Minitab skill is preferred.
- Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills;
