R&D Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated R&D Engineer to join our team, focusing on our patented Carbolysis technology. The ideal candidate will possess a robust understanding of pyrolysis processes and contribute to innovative product development through hands-on experimentation, detailed data analysis, and collaborative teamwork.
Key responsibilities
Deep Dive into CC Technology and Its Functions
- Thorough Understanding: Develop a comprehensive grasp of CC technology, including its underlying principles, components, and applications.
- Functional Expertise: Gain in-depth knowledge of CC technology's specific functions, such as gas flow, syngas, biochar properties
- Stay Updated: Continuously monitor advancements and emerging trends in CC technology to ensure knowledge is current.
Detailed Reporting and Data Analysis
- Comprehensive Documentation: Meticulously record daily experiments and projects, including detailed descriptions, procedures, observations, and data collected.
- Statistical Analysis: Employ statistical methods to analyze experimental data, identify trends, and draw meaningful conclusions.
- Hypothesis Testing: Rigorously test hypotheses using statistical techniques to determine their validity or invalidity.
- Clear Reporting: Prepare clear, concise, and well-structured reports that communicate findings and insights to relevant stakeholders.
Collaborative Contributions
- Product Development Support: Actively collaborate with the Product Development lead to ensure CC technology aligns with product goals and market requirements.
- R&D Leadership Assistance: Support the Head of R&D in developing and executing the overall R&D strategy.
- Team Collaboration: Work effectively with other R&D team members to foster a collaborative and productive environment.
Hands-On Experimentation
- On-Site Experiments: Conduct experiments in real-world settings to evaluate CC technology's performance and effectiveness under various conditions.
- Equipment Proficiency: Demonstrate proficiency in using laboratory equipment and tools necessary for conducting experiments.
- Data Collection: Accurately collect and record experimental data, ensuring its reliability and integrity.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Technical Writing: Write technical documents, such as whitepapers and articles, to disseminate research findings and promote CC technology.
Ideal candidate
- Bachelor's Degree or Higher: Degree in Technology or Engineering, with a preference for Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to understand and document complex technical information.
- Hands-On Experience: Proven track record of conducting practical experiments.
- Data Analysis Skills: Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and interpretation.
- Startup Environment: Experience working in dynamic, smaller-team environments characteristic of startups.
