Primary Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions:
- Manage and improve raw material planning and ordering processes: conduct daily planning / ordering for all raw materials; analyze raw material usage in response to demand or supply changes; improve and standardize daily planning processes.
- Maintain and improve vendor management processes, including Supplier Scorecard and Forecasting
- Manage site raw material inventory to achieve service and inventory objectives. Oversee site inventory management processes for raws (cycle counts, loss reduction projects, SLOB inventory).
- Identify and lead projects to improve raw planning, inventory management, and service.
- Provide support for new product introduction or transitions
- Take actively part in daily/weekly operational meetings in Operations and Supply Chain.
- Understand and ensure compliance with cGMP, ISO 13485, and FDA 21 CFR part 820 regulations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Marketing, Communications or other related field.
- 1-3 years logistics experience; medical device or pharmaceutical manufacturing experience preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required in both Dutch and English.
- Must demonstrate a flexible and collaborative approach to problem solving.
- Ability to interface with cross-functional groups to define and execute overall requirements
- Detail oriented and excellent analytical, mathematical, organizational, skills
- Working knowledge of modern manufacturing, material flow and improvement strategies, and the ability to integrate those into the operation.
- Knowledge of applicable computer systems, such as Microsoft Office, MFG Pro, and function specific software.
