As a Rapid Response Support Worker Level 2 with Burys Councils Intermediate Care Service, you will play a vital role in assisting vulnerable adults within the Bury community. This position requires a compassionate individual to provide essential support to those with physical disabilities stemming from illness or injury. You will be working closely with our dedicated team to empower clients and help them regain their confidence, promoting their health and overall well-being.

Your responsibilities will include responding promptly to emergency calls, providing on-the-ground assistance, and supporting independent living goals through tailored care plans. You will be tasked with evaluating and modifying these plans as necessary while maintaining accurate records of client progress using company technology.

This role also involves collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team, including occupational therapists and physiotherapists, to ensure a holistic and comprehensive approach to client care. Additionally, you will support emergency planning initiatives by assisting in the coordination and operation of temporary rest centres during emergencies.

Requirements

·        A minimum requirement of Level 2 in Health and Social Care

·        12 months experience working in Health and Social Care in the UK

·        Right to work in the UK (UK Citizens and Settlement Status ONLY)

·        Drivers licence

·        Car owner

Benefits

Work hours, pay and benefits.

FULL TIME ROTA as follows

· This will be a full-time position on a rota basis, between the hours of 8am and 10pm, Monday to Friday. 37.5 hours per week.

· Council benefits package.

· Pay Grade 7 hourly between £12.59-£13.47.

· You will have access to a van and equipment, provided by the service, to assist with lifting people when they have fallen.

· Free on-site parking.
