Under general supervision performs all clerical duties assigned. This position performs a variety of tasks including greeting and directing patients, answering telephones, faxing reports, completing the registration process and entering exam orders into the Radiology Information System. Duties also include, transcribe in Cerner, working in the PACS and related applications environment.

- Greets customers promptly and assures they are taken care of in a timely manner.
- Completes the registration process.
- Prints schedule and call for orders when assigned. Call for a valid order when required.
- Burns and uploads CDs with images and releases reports.
- Fills in as Outpatient Receptionist.
- Calls physicians office with results when needed and transcribes addendum of the delivery of the report.
- Uses Radiology Information System (RIS), Hospital Information System (HIS), and PACS.
- Demonstrates confidentiality using own password and all patient care modules.
- Recognizes and performs which need to be performed although not directly assigned.
- Keeps work area stocked with office and medical supplies efficiently and reorder through appropriate personnel when necessary.
- Participates in hospital Performance Improvement activities using LEAN tools and techniques.
