Radio Acoustics & Product Assessment Specialist

The Acoustics & Product Assessment Specialist will be the technical lead for identifying & assessing suitable radio equipment for operational use by the public safety customers.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Perform technical assessments on existing radio communications equipment on the market and report on their operational usefulness in a public safety environment to the customer.
  • Work with manufacturing partners to develop products and solutions that can solve the issues facing the customer
  • Production and review of reports into testing & technical assessments. (iv) Liaise between the customers occupational health dept, working groups and industry leaders to better understand health & safety policies, noise induced hearing loss and their practical application.
  • Lead the acoustic testing services provided for the customer and provide recommendations of changes needed to update the services.
  • Be the customers technical expert in audio and acoustics and attend technical forums and meetings on their behalf as a consultant.
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers, internal stakeholders, and suppliers. (viii) Support the catalogue services team by answering customer questions and identifying products for use.

Previous experience in the field of professional mobile radio communications, and associated audio accessories used with radio communications equipment.
