At NIQ, the Senior Manager – Record-to-Report (R2R) is responsible for managing and overseeing the overall R2R process. This includes the month-end close process, governance, and metrics covering all aspects of record-to-report, banking, fixed assets, intercompany transactions, financial reporting, and compliance. The Senior Manager – R2R plays a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data, supporting business operations, and maintaining regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities

Manage R2R Processes: Oversee the end-to-end R2R process, ensuring timely and accurate completion of tasks.

Month-End Close: Supervise month-end close activities, ensuring financial records are finalized accurately and on time.

Governance and Metrics: Establish and monitor governance frameworks and KPIs for compliance and process efficiency.

Banking and Fixed Assets: Manage banking activities and fixed assets accounting, ensuring proper documentation and reporting.

Intercompany Transactions: Handle intercompany accounting processes, including reconciliation and settlements.

Financial Reporting: Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with internal and external regulations.

Compliance: Maintain adherence to financial regulations, company policies, and industry standards.

Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the R2R team, fostering continuous improvement and professional development.

Process Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities for process enhancements to optimize the R2R function.

Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support business objectives.

Service Delivery: Manage service delivery for R2R, including process architecture and governance.

Performance Metrics: Monitor R2R quality metrics through SLAs and performance indicators.

Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify risks and opportunities for improvement.

Training and Development: Train and develop team members, ensuring competency and performance.
- Proven technical knowledge of SAP with a track record of test scrip development, performing and managing a UAT process, migration and implementation.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in R2R, financial reporting, or related areas, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), and strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS.

Leadership: Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.

Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.

Project Management: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Compliance Knowledge: In-depth understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
