Quantitative Researcher Intern (Summer 2025)

What You’ll Do:
Quantitative Researcher Interns will be introduced to Valkyrie’s trading models, applications, technology and business. During the course of your internship, you'll have the opportunity to leverage your quantitative skills to work on challenging projects that have the potential to change the way we trade. You will work closely with a mentor who will provide guidance, learning opportunities and genuine feedback. We provide an ideal platform for bright, quantitatively-savvy minds to put their talents to the test in real-world applications.

What You’ll Need:

  • Expected graduation date between December 2025 and December 2026
  • Willingness to work in-person, in Chicago beginning June 2, 2025
  • Pursuing a degree in mathematics, physics, statistics, electrical engineering, or other quantitative field of study
  • Strong quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient Python programming skills to model real-world problems efficiently and reliably
  • Ability and willingness to take full ownership (investigate, research, analyze and test trading models and strategies in a systematic fashion) of projects
  • Exemplary attention to detail and a deep interest in the financial industry
  • Willing to work on a collaborative team
