Job Responsibilities (including but not limited to)
- Ensure the delivery of high quality and rigorously consistent products
- Contribute to the improvement of the company's quality standards and processes
- Discover, identify, and document defects
- Identify and help mitigate system risk
- Contribute to quality process improvement
- Influence product design by being the voice of the customer
- Build and enhance suites of quality tests across multiple products, platforms, and applications
- Analyze requirements and translate specifications
- Design robust test plan strategies for sanity and regression testing
- Collaborate in the use of quality tools and test frameworks
- Interface with point of sale systems, web services, hardware devices, and data warehouses
- Strive to become a subject matter expert in our products and the payment industry.
- Interface with internal and external stakeholders
- Other related tasks as assigned
Job Requirements
- Eye for detail, exemplary technical expertise, and creative problem solving
- High integrity, role ownership, passion, and communication leadership
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial team environment
- Comfortable with agile and test-driven development
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline
- OR Certified Quality Engineer, Certified Software Quality Engineer, or related certification
- 2+ years experience in quality engineering, software engineering, or related roles
- Experience with ecommerce platforms (Shopify, Clover, WooCommerce, Magento)
Preferred Job Experience
- Development and or scripting experience
- Bitbucket and Git source control
- MS SQL Server database or applicable experience
- Payment industry practices and point of sale hardware and software
- Understanding of Ecommerce – experience in development and or support
- Android and iOS testing
- Front-end web application and automation testing
