JOB DESCRIPTION
The Quality Technician is responsible for ensuring that products, processes, analysis, and documentation are being done correctly and according to various quality control standards of the company and its customers. The Quality Technician is responsible for conducting inspections and audits during the manufacturing processes to ensure that products comply with quality standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Conduct internal audits, and any product or process inspection.
- Responsible for specific and non-specific customer specifications and requirements compliance to produce product.
- Interact with manufacturing plant personnel, plant supervisory personnel, customer quality personnel and customer service representatives
- Provide direction for manufacturing personnel that have questions relating to any product, material, or processes.
- Responsible for quality control of manufacturing parts throughout the production cycle to ensure strict compliance with the drawings before shipping.
- Measure dimensions and tolerances using digital caliper, micrometers and other special measurement instruments and equipment
- Inspect manufacturing parts against requirements of blueprints.
- Record and analyze testing results to determine whether to certify or reject specific products
- Assist in investigation and document vendor rejects.
- Assist in ISO documentation and work instructions update in English, Burmese and/or Spanish.
- Assist on the manufacturing floor process and product inspection when needed
- Assist in performing FMEA, GRR and SPC process capability studies.
- Assist with First Article Inspections, COC’s and COA’s preparation.

Data entry, filing, records retention, document scanning and department clerical duties.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must ensure the accuracy of information and be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- A minimum of one year of related experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with reading and interpretation skills (GD&T knowledge).
- Ability to read and understand laboratory standards, policies, and instructions
- Proficient with calipers, micrometers in both Metric and Inch.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and overall computer skills.
- Must be able to fulfill objectives with minimum direct supervision.
- Must be willing to learn and follow instructions.
- Must have good written communication skills and be able to efficiently communicate with co-workers and/or customers
- Must be able to move 30lbs boxes, material rolls or wire spools.
- SAP MRP system knowledge a plus
