Quality Reliability Engineer

As a product quality engineer at Solidigm, you will be responsible for ensuring Solidigm's SSDs in production meet our world class quality goals.

In this exciting and fast paced job role, you will be part of Solidigm's Validation, Quality and Reliability organization but will collaborate with partner teams within Solidigm to ensure that quality requirements are met and that systems and processes are in place for continuous improvement. Examples of these deliverables include:

  • Establishing quality systems and processes across the supply line
  • Managing and leading teams to address product or manufacturing nonconformance events
  • Reporting of quality indicators including ensuring correct ownership of systematic fixes
  • Working with product development teams to ensure a solid handoff to manufacturing teams

In this job to support these responsibilities, you can expect to closely collaborate with other Solidigm engineering teams including manufacturing engineering, product engineering, test engineering teams, hardware engineers and customer quality engineers.  To be successful, an ideal candidate will be comfortable in leadership roles, working in teams to a common goal and providing executive summaries.

  • Bachelor's degree in Material Sciences, Microelectronics, Electrical Engineering, Chemical, Physics or related field and 4+ years of relevant experience
  • Master's degree in Material Sciences, Microelectronics, Electrical Engineering, Chemical, Physics or related field and 3+ years of relevant experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated examples of the ability to problem solve and multitask.
  • Demonstrated experience in team leadership roles.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Direct experience working on SSD products
  • Experience in Quality and Reliability Engineering in a semiconductor related role
  • Understanding of SSD manufacturing (Fab, Sort, Assembly, Test).

For California, Colorado, New York, Washington, and remote roles: The compensation range for this role is $102,120 - $169,020. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
