Role purpose
- The QC Operations Quality Process Expert (QPE) is responsible for maintaining quality standards within QC Operations; Structure processes, procedures, work instructions, and resources necessary for the implementation and assurance of quality processes in accordance with the relevant standards.
- Drive continuous improvement of quality processes.
- Provide trainings on external audit requirements
- Ensure procurement of chemicals and consumables for the quality control operations
- Coordinate with Indirect Procurement Team to find alternative suppliers when needed
- Setting up and maintaining close cooperation with QC operations and other stakeholders in the procurement process.
- Coordinate with finance team and ensure timely payment as per agreement
- Vendor evaluation
Key responsibilities of role
- Actively plays a role in the strategy of quality control and quality monitoring within QC operations together with the management. Supports the management with requested and unrequested advice. Signals opportunities for improvements and gives recommendations.
- Supports the teams within QC Operations regarding to quality management and enhances quality awareness.
- Monitors certification standards, actively communicate changes (inside and outside QC Operations)
- Contact person for authorization bodies.
- Involvement with and guarding of the audit program, analyses audit reports and actively comes up with recommendations for solutions.
- Monitoring of nonconformity and documentation processes, whereas the Quality Process Support (QPS) is the executive. The QPE is responsible for Root Cause Analysis upon request of the management. The QPE gives actively advice regarding to document management within QC Operations.
- Monitoring/analyzing of longlists and reports to management. Gives recommendations and possible solutions.
- Coordinate for all internal & external audits along with documentation.
- Responsibility for effective training programs.
- Track and report the audit actions including CAPA.
- Coordinate with QC operations for timely supply of material/ consumables/ chemicals
- New vendor creation
- Invoice processing and submit for approvals
- Other duties as assigned
Accountabilities
- Accountable for up to date QC documentation related to internal and external standards
- Internal & external vendor auditor
- Responsible for non-conformities follow including CAPA
- Accountable for invoice processing.
Critical experience
- ISO 17025 knowledge and understand the audit requirements
- Establish personal credibility as an expert in procurement and problem solving
- Good knowledge of supply markets and dependent cost drivers.
- Working knowledge of procurement policies and procedures
Critical technical, professional, and personal capabilities
- Expertise with document management systems and databases; good knowledge of QMS platform(s) is a pre.
- Demonstrated proficiency in management of accreditations and external certifications
- Open and strong communicator. Proactive and supportive.
