Keystone Powdered Metal Company, a Sumitomo Electric Group company, is looking for a full-time Quality Engineering Manager who will be working in our St. Marys, PA location. This person will report to the VP of Quality Assurance.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee and direct the daily activities of personnel in Quality Engineering and Inspection
- Responsible for the establishment and enforcement of quality standards/ objectives and for the measuring of quality results
- Maintain proactive communications with all customers to ensure that KPMC meets or exceeds all customer requirements
- Assist Quality Lab Manager as back-up to maintain fully equipped dimensional and metallurgical labs including current blueprints and specifications for all parts
- Provide day to day direction to employees by setting and monitoring objectives for the department
- Ensure employees are informed of, and adhere to, all pertinent company rules, procedures, and policies
- Conduct performance reviews
- Communicate matters affecting quality throughout the organization using appropriate methods.
- Address customer concerns using a disciplined problem-solving approach
Qualifications
- Four-year technical degree or equivalent experience
Compensation may vary depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, competencies and location. Base pay is one part of the total compensation and benefits package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work.
