We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced QA Engineering Manager to join our innovative team. This individual will oversee our quality assurance efforts and ensure that we maintain the highest standards of product quality for one of our key domains.
The QA Engineering Manager will play a crucial role in transitioning our quality assurance practices from traditional manual testing to an automation-focused approach. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both manual and automated testing, as well as experience in supervising and managing QA teams, and in establishing and refining automation frameworks.
- Be a part of an agile leadership team and work closely with them to ensure our teams are delivering with high quality.
- Work with the Product teams and leads of one of our domains to establish quality standards, develop test plans and deliver ensure quality throughout the whole process.
- Work with Product owners and developers to improve the overall experience by suggesting improvements and changes.
- Align and collaborate with the rest of the quality team to improve the overall quality of our products, assess risks, promote consistency, identify common needs.
- Develop test strategies for automation both for backend and frontend.
- Help to define the good monitoring to ensure the quality of the project on stage and production.
- Lead and mentor a team of test automation engineers, providing guidance, training and feedback.
- Drive with your analytical way of thinking.
About you
- Solid experience as the Lead in the Quality Assurance field, with Web and mobile applications.
- Practical experience creating and maintaining UI automation tests and API tests and working with agile methodologies.
- Practical experience with object mappings and versioning is an advantage.
- Automation experience using test tools like Cypress, XCUITest, Espresso, WebdriverIO or similar frameworks.
- You are comfortable reading and writing code in at least one programming language, ideally JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate test automation into the continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipeline.
- Familiarity with performance test tools.
- A proactive team player approach - being able to analyze the risk and impact of issues and is work with the team to prioritize and resolve them.
- Any experience with performance, GDPR, accessibility, interoperability and security testing is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English.
Nice to Have
- ISTQB Test Manager Certification.
- Fluency in French language will be an added advantage.
