Job Description
- Work within an agile development team, design, develop and execute test cases for Microstrategy cloud offerings deployed on AWS, Azure, GCP, and private cloud.
- Actively participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle, advocating for the user to enhance the overall user experience.
- Design and implement comprehensive test plans for cloud-based applications and services, ensuring coverage of functional, performance, security, and scalability requirements. Create automated test scripts and integrate them into pipelines to facilitate continuous testing.
- Define and implement quality standards, maintain a fully automated testing operation to ensure consistent product quality and performance across releases.
- Monitor and optimize the performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness of cloud resources.
- Document infrastructure architecture, operational procedures, and best practices.
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree required; degree and/or significant coursework in computer science, or similar engineering program
- 1-2 years of professional experience preferred; training and professional development will be provided.
- Functional knowledge of AWS, Azure, and GCP. Industry-recognized certifications are a strong plus.
- Knowledge & hands-on experience with Containerization Infrastructures like Kubernetes and Docker.
- Experience building automated test scripts using tools such as WebdriverIO, Pytest, Cucumber, and JMeter.
- Proficiency in one or more of the following programming languages: Java, Python, TypeScript, HCL, or similar.
- Experience with major databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or NoSQL databases like MongoDB and Redis.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work successfully with both IT and non-IT colleagues.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Process-driven with a keen attention to detail; ability to manage multiple work streams and prioritize effectively.
