Your dream role:

Embark on an exhilarating journey as a key player in our dynamic team! We're on the lookout for an adept individual to champion our Vehicle Quality Inspections and enhancements, fostering a culture where every stage of production resonates with customer-ready excellence. Join us in shaping the future of automotive perfection!

Main responsibilities:

  • Carry-out Quality Inspection of Vehicles.
  • Maintain Quality Records (both on paper and electronically).
  • Support Quality Department and Operations on reducing defects and time spent on Stage Inspection Audits while maintaining recognized standards on vehicles.
  • Support the planned monthly output of Vehicles and customer targets.
  • Support Quality and Operations on eliminating recurring defects.
  • Where applicable, develop Quality Audits to drive continual improvement to improve Quality of Vehicle and reduce Build Hours.
  • Support the closure of customer issues (RQI) where required.
  • Ensure vehicles meet all legislative requirements.

 What you will bring:

  • Time served in coach-building – vehicle manufacture or similar discipline. 
  • In the absence of formal qualifications, one years’ practical quality experience in a manufacturing environment would be acceptable.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Computer literate.  Excel knowledge is critical.
  • Ability to work using own initiative.
  • Independent and able to make decisions on quality standards.
  • Ability to read Engineering drawings.
  • Ability to implement Root Cause Corrective Actions by using the required Quality tools.
  • Ability to work within a team and interact well with all levels of the quality and business organisation.
  • Comfortable making decisions.
