Catbird, a Brooklyn based jewelry brand, is looking for a detail oriented person to join our Quality Control Team as a full time Level 1 Quality Control Assistant.

Key Responsibilities
- Visually inspecting all jewelry to meet specifications and established standards - focusing on the preliminary inspection for surface details and visible flaws.
- Record results using checklists and input data into the ERP system, Netsuite.
- Assist with organizing jewelry and preparing tools for inspection.
- Communicate observations and contribute to the QC process in a constructive and positive manner
- Utilize QC processes, tools and software
- Inspect approximately 400–600 pieces of jewelry per week.
- This number may increase due to needs and time of year.
Our Ideal Candidate
- 1+ year professional experience required, QC experience preferred
- Must be extremely detail oriented, organized and able to follow instructions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will be working closely with experienced team members.
- Data entry experience preferred. Must be comfortable working on a computer.
- Comfortable in a fast paced environment and works with a sense of urgency to provide our customers with beautiful, sparkling jewelry that will bring them joy now through forever
- GIA classes taken or jewelry experience is a plus but not required.
Compensation: $24/hour
