What you'll do
- Participates in the Refinement meetings to understand the requirements of the next Sprint, raising blocks if needed.
- Creates the Test Plan of the Sprint Backlog in order to cover the quality over the Stories Acceptance Criteria, functional and non-functional requirements defined.
- Ensure the Acceptance Criteria.
- Actively participate in the Scrum rituals (Planning, Daily, Review, Retros).
- Perform the Test Execution based on the Test Plan, registering all the bugs in Jira.
- Monitors the Sprint control tools and helps the team to continuously deliver Stories for tests from the beginning of the cycle to reduce quality risks and issues.
- Ensures the bugs are properly resolved, retesting the affected flow of the application, and making sure bug ticket in Jira was properly updated with all necessary information.
- Be part of a Mobile team, directly contributing to feature development and maintenance.
- Partner with colleagues to build and maintain tooling for test development, automation, and release processes improvement.
- Advocate for the user experience when communicating with the product, design, and tech;
- Provide the team with a quality strategy that supports the team's delivery goals.
- Be part of a highly-skilled quality chapter, owning initiatives to improve quality processes, metrics, and tooling.
- Identify problems, risks, and dependencies, escalating and managing when necessary.
- Promote and defend the best practices within the team and across the business.
- Automate E2E tests using Python
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in information systems, engineering/computer science, or areas related to Information Technology, with work experience.
- Experience with documentation.
- In-depth understanding of test concepts at all stages of the software development lifecycle.
- Comprehensive analytical skills.
- Experience in test specification using BDD/Gherkin.
- Experience in defect analysis and reporting.
- Experience in working or testing integration with web services and microservices (APIs).
- Experience in working or mobile (Android/iOS, both Native).
- Experience in working using API Tools support (like Postman)
- Good interpersonal communication with strong verbal / written skills in English.
- Experience working with a software management system (JIRA is preferred).
- Experience with agile methodologies.
- Experience with test automation processes and tools and Frameworks, such as Selenium, Browserstack, LambdaTest, etc.
- Familiarity with Git.
- Experience with test automation using Python, Selenium and Appium
- Familiarity with software built-in Native Mobile.
