A little about the role…

As a Quality Assurance Engineer on our team, you will help build and maintain best-in-class Desktop, Web and Cloud solutions. You will support test suite design and implementation including the buildout of smoke, sanity, and regression test suites that are healthy, fast and maintainable. You will contribute to all levels of testing including manual and automated end-to-end/functional/acceptance testing. You will be a critical safeguard for maintaining the quality of our releases and increasing the speed at which we can deliver value to our customers.

You’ll be a key member of our growing engineering team while we expand on existing features and deliver new functionality. Our fast-paced, agile environment uses modern technologies where you will help build out and manage both manual and automated tests used to enable the delivery of a reliable and scalable test framework. What You Will Do

  • Create test plans based on technical specifications, user needs, and business requirements
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of a suite of extensible, automated test scripts
  • Record and document actual vs. expected results, prioritize defects based on frequency and severity, and track the lifecycle of the defect
  • Participate in the release of software and integration solutions, including validation and stakeholder acceptance
  • Execute automated performance, load, and usability tests of software and integrations with communication of results back to the team
  • Work with the software team to ensure appropriate test coverage for optimal product reliability and release velocity
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across Design, Product Management, and Engineering
  • Present new ideas and respectfully debate those ideas with the team

Requirements

Our Ideal Candidate Will Have

  • 2+ years' of manual and automated application testing
  • Core knowledge in Jira and Xray based automation
  • Experience with SQL Server
  • Experience with API testing
  • Experience with JMeter or similar performance testing toolset is a plus
  • Experience with Bitbucket source control
  • Communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with Agile processes in a structured setting (Scrum)

Salary

$80,000-$100,000/year DOE

Location

We are currently in a hybrid in-office/remote working model based on business needs. While our preference is a candidate located in Denver, CO or Medford, OR, this role is open to remote candidates in the following states: AL, AZ, CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, ID, IL, IN, IA, KY, ME, MD, MA, MI, MN, MO, NV, NJ, NY, NC, OH, OR, PA, TN, TX, VA, WA, WI.
