CIG has an exciting opportunity as a Quality Assuarance Engineer which will allow you to demonstrate your business and technical knowledge as well as your communication skills to elicit, evaluate, articulate and translate business requirements into clear technical needs. You will help define and visualize workflows, model data and define system requirements and acceptance criteria, both technical and business
Our Ideal Candidate:
- Coordinates System Test Cycles

Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing.
- Coordinates the evaluation and validation of potential solutions to end user requests.
- Develop method statement for the activity including risk assessment and job safety environmental analysis and Inspection Test Plan and Checklist based on specifications of the project.
- Taking care of QA/QC documents of the entire project including certificates, calibration, test results, inspection requests, non-compliance reports and site instruction/observations, permanent materials delivered and other QA/QC documents.
- Serves as subject matter expert on QA processes; provides guidance and training to fellow QA team members on Automation Testing and Process improvement.
- 4 years of quality assurance testing in a professional environment.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Information Technology or Computer Science OR equivalent combination of education and experience
Knowledge of:
- Agile and Waterfall software development approaches
- Relational Database query language (e.g. SQL) Communicate effectively in English orally and in writing, to all levels of the organization.
- SQL or Oracle relational databases, client/server technologies, web development, business applications, some programming experience and familiarity with object-oriented languages
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with business partners.
- Graphical User Interface development tools and techniques
- Microsoft Windows environment and Microsoft Office components.
- Familiarization of insurance industry terminology and laws desirable
- Prioritize multiple demands/projects simultaneously.
- Establish and maintain detailed and accurate documentation and testing records.
- Conduct needs assessment, development and implementation of training programs.
- Problem solving and critical thinking skills
