We are seeking a talented QA Engineer to join our team and work on IT Equity Derivatives projects. The ideal candidate will have expertise in executing test plans and be interested in evolving to a Business Analyst role.

 

Role and responsibilities

  • Ensure tasks/projects are organized and prioritized
  • Ensure deliverables are scheduled and done on time
  • Ability to context switch between multiple tasks
  • Good communicator, who must be able to coordinate with multiple teams to meet various task objectives
  • Gather requirements, conduct workshops, and complete work-flows and technical requirements analysis
  • Develop and execute test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures for software testing (manual and automated testing.
  • Maintain and improve software testing and developing scripts for automation and detailed analysis

  • Bachelor degree in Computer science, Engineering, Finance or Quantitative finance
  • 3+ years of relevant experience 
  • Understanding of financial markets for Equities / Futures
  • Understanding of market protocols (Binary and FIX Protocols)
  • Knowledge of Python to maintain and improve software testing and developing scripts for automation and detailed analysis
  • Working knowledge on Linux
  • Excellent analytical skills and capable of understanding complex workflows and distilling the knowledge to various stake holders.
  • Knowledge of regulatory topics (SEC/FINRA guidelines and rules) and impacts to trading technologies is a plus
  • Able to communicate timelines and milestones

The salary range for this role is US$80,000 - US$125,000
