Quality Analyst for AI Evaluator (with HR Experience) at Sama

About the Job:

As a Quality Analyst you will work to help state-of-the-art generative AI models perform better.

You will be responsible for ensuring the quality of data annotated by teammates. You will be expected to provide excellent feedback to teammates to ensure a high quality of work. You will also be responsible for understanding client expectations and needs. You will also be expected to share best practices and your expertise

Day to day responsibilities:

Highlight and annotate text data
Select and explain your reasoning for data processing tasks
Evaluate, edit, and improve the quality of annotated data tasks
Lead team discussions with the goal of improving overall work quality
Provide clear and consistent feedback to teammates and other collaborators
Be a thought partner to the Director, Service Delivery and other stakeholders
Effectively delegate tasks, establish a common goal, and foster collaboration and belonging amongst team members
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Be a master of the Sama platform
Perform any other duty as may be required or assigned

Must haves:

Have completed a Bachelor's degree or higher in one of the following industries: Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, Education, Training and Development, Law, Communications.
2-4 years of experience working in human resources, education, or similar fields.
Fluency in English at C2 level. Excellent ability to clearly communicate to different audiences and through different mediums (verbally or in writing)

Nice to haves:

1-2 years of people management experience
Experience working in more than one industry
Strong critical thinking, reasoning, and exceptional problem-solving skills
Demonstrable ability to perform well in a rapidly changing and extremely global team
Passion for improving your community
Experience in GenAI
