Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced QuickBooks Online (QBO) expert to join the bookkeeping division. This role involves managing financial records for 8–15 clients, performing reconciliations, generating financial statements, and ensuring accurate bookkeeping practices.
Responsibilities
- Manage the bookkeeping needs of 8-15 clients (growing to 10-15 at full capacity)
- Perform monthly reconciliations and generate accurate financial statements
- Ensure data accuracy by cleaning up general ledgers
- Create and process balance sheet entries and adjusting journal entries
- Prepare clear and concise monthly financial reports for each client
- Work effectively with a mix of clients from professional services, consulting, restaurants, and retail
- Understand the nuances of cash-basis accounting (experience with accrual accounting a plus)
- Collaborate with the team to handle inter-company transactions
Requirements
- 3+ years of expertly working with QuickBooks Online.
- QuickBooks ProAdvisor is highly preferrable.
- Excellent attention to detail and a knack for problem-solving
- Experience with financial statement preparation (income statements, balance sheets)
- Proficiency in data entry and spreadsheet software (Excel)
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills in English (daily communication required)
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
- Comfort collaborating within a team environment
