We are a team of 450 people located in Manchester, Oxford and London. Over the past 8 years, we’ve supported 10,000’s of customers on their car buying journey and know 2024 is shaping up to be another exciting year!
🙌 The Role
QA/Software Tester
A QA/Software Tester checks and assures our software quality, by ensuring that our software runs like a well-oiled machine, providing seamless journeys for our customers and internal teams.
Your day-to-day work will be a mix of testing and documentation, which may include:
- Oversee the end-to-end testing process, including test planning, test design, test execution, and defect management.
- Implement comprehensive test strategies, test plans and test cases that align with project requirements and business objectives.
- Collaborate with product owners and development teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage and validate software functionality against business requirements.
- Design and execute manual and automated test scripts to validate system functionality, performance and reliability.
- Perform root cause analysis of defects and work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance the overall testing efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in testing methodologies and tools.
- Communicate test progress, results, and potential risks to project stakeholders, including management and business owners.
About You
Experience is one thing, but potential is far more important so, even if you lack some of the skills listed below, we still really want to hear from you.
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum) and experience working in an Agile environment.
- Experience working with and testing CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.
- Proficiency in designing, creating and maintaining test cases, test scripts, and test scenarios.
- Experience of test automation frameworks and tools.
- Extensive knowledge of software testing concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
- Hands-on experience with test management tools and defect tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana).
- Experience with performance testing and security testing would be a plus.
