Overview of job
As a QA Analyst you will be responsible for the review and testing of various Digital Assets developed by the development team. This ranges from banner ads to content and e-commerce websites, to mobile applications and tech-driven on-ground solutions.

Measures of Success

In three months, you would have: Handled small, fast-paced campaign projects primarily focused on UI and functionality testing.
-
In six months, you would have: Handled medium-scale projects, and established a respectable portfolio of digital projects; with exposure to bigger scale testing requirements and methodologies.

In 12 months, you would have: Handled large, full-scale projects, with more extensive exposure to the different types of Digital assets and be involved in end-to-end QA strategy planning and execution.
Responsibilities of the role:

Perform various types of testing, depending on project scope. Such as:

Front-end / UI Testing
-
Functional Testing
-
Performance Testing
-
API Testing
-
Load Testing
-
Speed Testing
-
Smoke Testing
-
etc
-
Write/Create necessary testing documentation, such as (but not limited to):
-
Test plan
-
Test scripts
-
UAT scripts
-

Be involved in the entire development process (including requirements)

Able to write, review, revise and verify quality standards and test procedures for program design and product evaluation.

Participate in the review of standards, procedures, tools, and processes.

Monitor, manage and communicate with developers on defects.

Prepare and develop test strategies and test plans.
-
Knowledge in test automation (Selenium, Cucumber) is a plus.
What you will need:
- 1 to 2 years’ experience as a Quality Assurance Specialist preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum methodology, how QA functions within it, and regression testing desired.
- Experience in web/platform/applications testing
- Experience with Postman for API testing.
- Basic SQL query skills to review database data.
- Understanding of QA testing principles and methodologies.
- Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test cases.
- Executes test cases under varying circumstances.
- Documents and evaluates test results.
- Knowledge of JIRA or another defect tracking tool.
- Detects, logs, and reports program bugs.Tracks defects and helps troubleshoot errors.
- Must be meticulous and detail-oriented.
- Ability to work efficiently as part of a team, share your knowledge with them and learn from them.
- Capable of working independently and as part of a team.
- Open to constructive feedback and improving on them.
- Automation experience is a plus.
- Willingness to grow your skills in the automation testing area.
- Good analytical skills.
- Communication skills - verbal and written.
