We are responsible for the quality-assured introduction of new software deliveries into TDG's operations.
The focus is on end-to-end tests for our internal customers (BUT = Business User Tests).
 
We support strategic top projects such as MagentaView, Gigabit, HNBT, EOS, etc. as well as classic software deliveries via release containers, minor releases and bug fixes.
 
We are the link between the requester and the implementer.

That's why we're looking for you:

  • As the person responsible for the successful planning, organization and execution of tests of new features, products or services, you create and prioritize the business user tests to be carried out for your test cluster. Our test and ticket management is clustered into five teams: PK & Portale, GK, Wholesale and Assurance.

 

  • As part of ticket management, you ensure that the error tickets are understood by all stakeholders and are responsible for finding solutions in terms of functionality, usability, costs, performance and quality.

 

  • For the new team setup, we need implementation power, negotiation skills, persuasiveness, good networking within DT IT & TDG, good knowledge of Deutsche Telekom's system and process landscape, very good Jira and MS Office skills and enjoyment of working in a team in order to put our goals into practice!

 

  • Do you have experience as a ticket manager or in the field of test planning? Are you curious to try out new features before they are put into operation and to actively drive solutions forward? Are you able to identify potentials for test automation? Are you an organizational talent and have the gift of bringing many stakeholders together?

  • ISTQB Certification
  • Enjoyment of cross-team collaboration
  • Interest in new trends and developments in the field of telecommunications technologies
  • Understanding Software Test Life Cycle
  • Understanding the NFR (non-functional requirements) data consumption, crash logging, ticket handling and routing, organizing conference calls, basic knowledge of test- and project management
  • Experiences with Cloud technology
  • Willingness to acquire Telekom order process knowledge
  • Have a strong focus on business outcomes
  • Are comfortable with collaboration, open communication and reaching across functional borders
  • Are self-motivated and can get things done
  • Have the ability to communicate and defend your ideas clearly
  • Ability to operate without extensive guidance, and to work individually
  • English and German knowledge both written and spoken at least on a B2 level
