About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for:

Test Planning and Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive, well-structured test plans and test cases that can be used by QA engineers and team to identify defects, inconsistencies, and general quality concerns from a UX/UI perspective.

Test Execution: Perform manual and automated tests and analyze the results to ensure the product is meeting quality standards. You will embrace the challenge of manual and automated testing, continuously seeking ways to streamline and improve the process.

Bug and Defect Tracking: Identify and track defects, bugs, or other quality issues and collaborate closely with the development team to facilitate remediations or resolutions.

Process and Product Improvement: Continuously evaluate software testing processes and practices for efficiency and evaluate the product for overall better customer experience.

Tools and Technologies: Continue to stay updated on the latest available testing tools and methodologies and evaluate the effectiveness of implementing new tools.
What You’ve Done Before
- 4+ years as a QA Engineer.
- 4+ years of SaaS QA or technical experience.
- Cultivated a deep understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience with identifying deficiencies in the user experience of a product and collaborating with the engineering team for resolution.
- Collaborated closely with developers and product teams to identify and solve complex problems and pushed the boundaries for quality in user experience.
- Engaged in continuous learning to master new technologies that improve your skills and successfully level up your team.
- Thrived in a fast-paced, dynamic environment collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure efficiency in process and quality of product.
It’d be Great if You’ve Done This
- Experience with performance and/or security testing.
- Prior experience in a CI/CD environment.
- Familiarity with programming or scripting languages, especially those used in test automation.
- Previous experience with Swoogo or other event management software.
