About the role 

With computer vision becoming one of the core technologies powering sports data collection and products across sports media, sports betting and coaching solutions, we are looking to expand our Automated Content QA team responsible for testing our computer vision solutions for automated data collection across different sports like Racket sports (Table Tennis, Tennis), Basketball, eSports, etc. 

As a QA Engineer in our team, you will work with an experienced team of Computer Vision Engineers and Software Developers to develop Computer Vision solution capable of automatically collecting event and tracking data from live matches.   

The Challenge: 

  • Review technical and business requirements and prepare detailed test plans. 

  • Design and develop robust & reusable automated tests for our systems, such as functional, integration, regression and computer vision models evaluation. 

  • Design, develop and execute performance test scripts, focusing on application performance benchmark and breakpoints. 

  • Researching test tools, methodologies and trends and upgrading existing practices and processes. 

  • Analyze and troubleshoot failed test scripts. Report testing activities. 

  • Ability to keep pace with the constantly changing technology industry. 

Your Profile: 

  • At least 2 years of experience in automated and performance testing or in software application development. 

  • Very good understanding of software development and software testing life cycle. 

  • Hands-on experience with Python programming language. 

  • Experience with current software development practices (TDD/BDD, CI/CD, IaC, Agile). 

  • Basic knowledge of relational databases. 

  • Fluent in English (written and spoken). 

  • A can-do attitude. 

Nice to have: 

  • Experience with REST, Kafka, Rabbit MQ. 

  • Experience with containerized application management (k8s) and AWS cloud services.

  •  Experience with leading a smaller team and coaching/mentoring others.

  • Willingness to learn about Machine Learning and Computer Vision technologies. 

  • Strong communication skills. 

  • Ability to think outside the box and to quickly adapt to changing requirements. 

  • Ability to work in dynamic international environment. 

  • Passion for sport.
